Legislation memoranda and comments, 1957-1963.

Summaries by the attorney general's staff of bills introduced into the Minnesota legislature. For 1957-1959 and 1963 they are on mimeographed forms, give bill number, last day to sign, bill title, authors, house and senate votes, department (i.e., attorney general) opinion, and other information. Comments for 1959 are especially extensive. For 1961, they are in the form of carbon copies of memoranda to the governor, summarizing the nature of each bill and commenting on its effects or intention.
